Here’s part 2 of my Korean class field trip video series. In this video I take you along with me to a cooking class that was part of the days schedule. In this class we make Gungjung tteokbokki which is stir fried beef with rice cakes, vegetables, and soy sauce. And ground beef dak-galbi with a cabbage salad. Dak galbi, which means chicken rib, is typically made with chicken (cut in to square pieces), various vegetables and a spicy sauce. But in this class we made a very different variation using ground beef shaped into square patties. Overall, the food was very delicious and simple to make. Unfortunately I do not have the exact measurements for the ingredients used in this video so if you do decide to make the dishes you will have to eyeball it .sorry 🙁 . But, all hope is not lost! below are links to recipes the first dish at least (Gungjung tteokbokki), since I believe that the second dish was the chef in the videos own creation.
